Our Story
Educating Minds, Inspiring Hearts
St. Xavier's High School, Keonjhar, nestled in the foothills of Sanaghagara, stands tall on 2.96 acres of land at Naigaon, Dimbo. Established on 2nd April 2007, in the tribal belt of Keonjhar District, Odisha, the school has grown from a humble beginning to a thriving institution with around 700 students from Kindergarten to Class 10, supported by 70 teaching and non-teaching staff.
Initially operating from a rented building in the heart of Keonjhar town, the school moved into its purpose-built campus in 2010. Managed by Gyanodaya Educational Trust under the leadership of Er. Debabrata Behera and affiliated to CBSE New Delhi since 2012, it is a co-educational English-medium public school guided by the values of the St. Xavier's Group of Schools.
With English as the primary medium of instruction and Hindi and Odia as second and third languages, the school fosters intellectual, moral, emotional, physical, and aesthetic growth. The dedicated faculty ensures alignment with the CBSE CCE curriculum, aiming for holistic education rooted in national integration and character development.
2007
School founded with 30 staff members in a rented facility at the heart of Keonjhar town.
2010
Relocated to the permanent 2.96-acre campus in Naigaon, Dimbo under the scenic Sanaghagara foothills.
2012
Affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, expanding academic rigor and credibility.

Home to 700+ students with modern infrastructure and a vision for all-round development across CBSE Class 1 to 10.
